2. Rucksack – If you are offloading your Rucksack, you will need a small daypack to carry your basic essentials
3. Good trekking shoes and a pair of slip-on, if required for the campsite

5. Woolen or Fleece Gloves and a pair of waterproof gloves Cotton socks and woolen socks (2 pairs each)
6. Balaclava, Woolen scarf – If you do not have a Balaclava, you can carry a Monkey cap instead

8. Fleece Jacket, Snow Jacket, or Padded Jacket (1 each)
9. Windcheater or Poncho 2-3 pairs of trek pants
10. 2 collared and full-sleeved t-shirts – Do not carry loose t-shirts as they tend to make you feel cold
11. Camera or Binoculars
12. Ready-to-eat snacks, Enerzyl Powder or Glucon D Powder
13. Cap, Sunglasses – Do ensure that your sunglasses are UV Protected. Do not carry reflectors.
14. Headlamp/LED Torch – Mandatory
15. Toiletries – Sunscreen, Moisturizer, light towel, lip balm, wet wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste, Hand Sanitizer, Mosquito repellent, if required
16. Polythene Bags or Zip-lock Bags – These help to segregate wet clothes, used wet wipes or sanitary napkins on a trek
17. Any medicines that you normally consume – Please consult your doctor in this regard

3. IF THE TRIP DID NOT COMMENCE AND IS CANCELLED BEFORE DEPARTURE — FULL REFUND EXCEPT FOR TRAIN AND BUS CANCELLATIONS.

ITINERARY
Day 1 : Travel to Amritsar
Depart for Amritsar via NDLS ASR EXP train at 2 p.m. (2S Seater train).
-Arrive in Amritsar late at night; enjoy dinner at a local dhaba
check into a well- selected hotel near the Golden Temple.
Overnight stay in Amritsar
Meals: None
Day 2 : Explore Amritsar Journey to McLeodGanj
Begin the day early with a visit to the Golden Temple at 7:00 am.
Explore Jallian Wala Bagh and stroll down Golden Temple Street.
After checking out, travel to McLeodganj in a private vehicle.
Evening visit to HPCA Stadium,
followed by hotel check-in and dinner.
Meals: Breakfast + Dinner
Day 3 : McLeod Sightseeing | Departure to Bir
Morning visit to Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsu Nag Waterfall, and Alex Church.
Lunch and shopping in McLeod Market.
Evening departure to Bir, a

Cancellation Policy
We understand the disappointment of cancelling a trek after months of preparation. That's why we have a traveller-friendly cancellation policy.
Pending Payment Policy:
- Complete your pending payment 5 days before departure.
- Failure to pay the second instalment may result in booking cancellation and loss of advance payment.
- Boarding will be denied for non-payment, and the seat will be reassigned.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
For Backpacking Expeditions and Long Treks (More than 4 nights):
- 30+ days before the trek: Full refund in a Papillon coupon or monetary refund with a 15% cancellation charge.
- 20-30 days before the trek: 80% refund in a Papillon coupon or monetary refund with a 50% cancellation charge.
- Less than 20 days before the trek: No monetary refund; 50% in a Papillon coupon.
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
- If unwell: No refund; find a replacement if needed.
For Sahyadri Treks/Campings and Weekend Backpacking Trips:
- 30+ days before the trek: Full refund in a Papillon coupon or monetary refund with a 15% cancellation charge.
- 20-30 days before the trek: 80% refund in a Papillon coupon or monetary refund with a 50% cancellation charge.
- Less than 20 days before the trek: No monetary refund; 20% in a Papillon coupon if fully paid.
- Ticket transfer: 20% surcharge, subject to organiser's decision.
- No-show or illness: No refund; find a replacement if needed.
- Advance Booking amount: Non-refundable.
Important Note: Trek Insurance, train cancellation, and agent charges are non-refundable if the trek is cancelled within 6 days before departure.

If We Cancel a Trek/Trip:
- Natural calamities or unrest: No refund if the trip has started.
- Before departure: Full refund except for train and bus cancellations.
- Sahyadri treks: Opt for event shift or full refund if cancelled due to low participation.
- Medical emergencies or COVID: Regular cancellation policy applies.
- Transport issues: Alternate arrangements made; participants bear costs.

Papillon will assist with alternate arrangements for delays, but participants bear the costs.
